Customer Success Representative

Foundry Spatial is a fast-growing environmental analytics firm based in the beautiful city of Victoria. We are recruiting for an enthusiastic, talented person to join our business development team. Foundry develops and maintains products which provide insights into environmental data.

Foundry Spatial has provided products and services to the environmental sector since 2009. Today Foundry's water tools service large parts of western Canada. Foundry's clients include major government entities, industrial and private customers seeking innovative technological applications and product development support. Foundry has received awards for its ground-breaking, decision-support technologies for more efficient water resource management, and has several products in the development pipeline. The Position

Temporary - 6 Month Term
Working Location - In Office

We are looking for a customer success representative to join us for the launch of our new SaaS based software product - Flux Forecast. Our mission with Flux Forecast is to reduce preventable damages and loss of life from extreme weather events through actionable science and data.

While reporting to the Director of Business Development the job responsibilities are:

• Sales Lead Generation including; executing on a lead generation strategy for select market verticals, capturing and tracking leads using a CRM, assisting the sales team with lead qualification, as well as with the creation of customized sales/marketing materials.
• Customer Onboarding including; assisting with the creation of the onboarding process and documentation, collaborating with customers to determine system configuration requirements, translating requirements into actionable tasks for the technical teams, and to ensure quality control in the onboarding process.
• Product Support including; managing the collection, dissemination and documentation of customer support requests using a service desk application, interfacing with Foundry Spatial teams to gather the required information to resolve customer support requests, interacting with customers to see the support request through to completion, and escalating customer support requests where required.

Essential qualifications for this position are:

• Undergraduate degree
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent business writing skills
• Proficient problem solver, high degree of professionalism, and has a “people first” attitude
• Desire to exceed customer expectations
• Detail oriented and ability to organize large amounts of information

Desired but not required for this position:

• Prior experience with a software based organization
• Market research experience
• Experience working with CRM or Service Desk applications
