About Foundry Spatial

Established in beautiful Victoria, British Columbia, we are a team of environmental scientists, software developers, and geospatial experts drawn from government, academia, and the private sector. Our secret sauce is a blend of scientific know-how and entrepreneurial innovation. Above all, we care about the environment and supporting people across multiple sectors in responsible decision-making.

At Foundry Spatial, our products help people make sustainable decisions about water and the environment, bringing scientific data to the web in creative, interactive ways. We work with the best open source tools and are continually improving our products as we learn and grow. We also work hard to create and maintain a diverse and inclusive environment so everyone knows they belong on our team. Work life balance is important. We don’t expect our staff to work evenings or weekends.

We’re looking for team players who are passionate about technology and the environment. This will include leading our team of developers, contributing to development activities, and helping to build out project scope, tasks, and timelines.

We have an office close to town with free parking, and easy access by bus or bike (we are right on Lochside Trail). Great coffee (and tea), a health spending account, support for professional development, and team building events are some of the perks. You can work in the OS of your choice and will have the support and tools to build your skills while working with us.
